Description

How can a screenshot of my desktop be related to art?
Well, look at the beauty of the whole thing and you'll understand.

-The transparency of the terminal windows showing the piece of work "Peaceful Days" by Kyomu.

-The harmony between the different colors of the syntax highlighting in vim, which I customized to my tastes.

-The efficiency of the multiple windows layout.
From top to bottom and left to right:
the header file of my class.
the implementation file of my class.
the header file of my linked list toolkit.
the command prompt.

And the OS behind it all, Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

And that's it. No more, no less. Only what's needed, and displayed beautifully.

Just for information, this is a homework assignment for my data structures class, and it's really fun. I mean, going to school has really become something fun, and I can't imagine myself studying something different than something computer science/engineering related.

One year later, I've been playing with something else: tiling window managers. They do the same thing, but do the tiling automatically. I use awesome wm, but it's a Linux window manager. So I use SizeUp for OS X. It's pretty good, but not as convenient as awesome wm.
